Joint workshop of Nature Research Centre and Kuršių Nerija National Park

On 10 September 2020, Juodkrantė hosted a joint workshop of Nature Research Centre and Kuršių Nerija National Park administration. During the workshop, Nature Research Centre's Director, Prof. Dr. (HP) Sigitas Podėnas, Deputy Director for Experimental Development, Dr. Ričardas Paškauskas, and heads of divisions of the centre presented to the Kuršių Nerija National Park administration an overview of scientific research pursued in the Curonian Spit, the objects and scope of research, and the possibilities of collaboration with the national park, seeking to increase knowledge of unique natural objects, raise public awareness and spotlight the importance of preservation of unique natural objects in the Curonian Spit and surrounding water bodies.
