Conference of the Scandinavian–Baltic Society for Parasitology

2021.01.11

The Nature Research Centre in conjunction with the Young Academy of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences and the Scandinavian–Baltic Society for Parasitology organise the 9th Conference of the Scandinavian–Baltic Society for Parasitology (CSBSP9) in Vilnius on 21–23 April 2021.

The Scandinavian–Baltic Society for Parasitology was founded in Bergen in 2003 upon merger of Scandinavian and Baltic societies for parasitology. The first conference was held in Vilnius in 2005. We are happy to host the conference in Vilnius again after fifteen years – this time, virtually.

The topic of the conference is "Parasites in the ever-changing world". The vision of the conference is to create a platform for experienced and young scientists involved in wildlife, veterinary and medial parasitology and to share results with scientists of North European and other countries.

The scientific committee of the CSBSP9 prepared an interesting programme, with a focus on both regional and global issues of parasitology.

More information on the conference, invited speakers and other activities during this event is available at:  https://www.csbsp9.eu. Please share this information with your colleagues and students who might be interested in the conference.
