THE MUSEUM OF MINERALS BECAME RICHER
Agate collector V. Matuzevičius donated 43 more minerals to the Museum of Minerals. The collections of the museums were supplemented with agates from globally known mineral deposits in Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), Morocco (Asni and Agouim), and Poland (Novy Kosciol). The donated collection contains not only agates but also wonderful jaspers from Madagascar and flint from the Holy Cross Mountains in Poland, considered to be the most colourful flint in the world.
V. Matuzevičius has already donated to the Museum of Minerals 900 samples – mostly agates from different parts of the world.
