Event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Academician Alfonsas Merkys

On 28 April 2022, at 13:00, the Small Conference Hall of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences (Gedimino Ave. 3, Vilnius) will host an event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Academician Alfonsas Merkys.

Presentations will be delivered by Nature Research Centre’s researchers: Researcher Dr. Aurika Ričkienė “Alfonsas Merkys – Plant Physiologist. Aspects of Scientific Activity”, postdoctoral fellow, Senior Researcher Dr Viktorija Vaštakaitė-Kairienė “Photophysiological Investigations for High Nutritional Value Products in Controlled Environment Horticulture”, and Researcher Dr Elžbieta Jankovska-Bortkevič “Plant Response to Freezing and Search for Its Modification Tools”.
