Anglers and citizen science in Denmark: lessons learned and plans for the future
Dr Christian Skov, a scientist from the Technical University of Demark and an initiator of the anglers and citizen science programme, will present the programme and the fisheries management information that could be gathered in cooperation with anglers. To date, about 13 thousand of anglers in Denmark use Dr Skov’s initiated Fangstjournalen platform.
The seminar will also give brief information on NRC’s investigations on angling in the Kauno Marios Water Reservoir and on NRC’s participation in the anglers and citizen science programme.
The language of the seminar will be English. Online participation will be available.
