Study period: 2017-12-22 – 2021-12-21

Research theme: Reproductive parameters, habitat selection and interaction with other species in the increasing White-tailed Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) population

Short annotation (the aim, objectives)

Aim of study – to estimate reproduction parameters, habitat selection and their dynamics in increasing population of the Whte-tailed Eagle as well as interactions with other species

Objectives are to estimate:

  1. does mezopredator (Clanga pomarina) suffers reproduction costs when nesting in vicinity of White-tailed Eagle;
  2. interaction between recovered White-tailed Eagle and other species belonging to different trophic levels;
  3. habitat selection and its changes during population increase;
  4. spatio-temporal variation in reproduction parameters and nestlings quality.
