Research theme: Investigation of diets of postglacial inhabitants by the stable isotope mass spectrometry

The main goal of the work is to identify dietary trends of Lithuanian inhabitants during the past two millennia. The hypotheses investigated: whether there were dietary differences between men and women, between rural, urban population and elites, as well as the diet of people living in different periods. Animal bioarcheological material were analyzed as well.
