Employed for various projects: 1) Daily check-up of captive zebra finches (Taeniopygia guttata), 2) DNA extraction from blood samples using ammonium acetate method, nested PCR and Sanger sequencing to determine the presence of avian malaria parasites, 3) Sequence capture on Plasmodium and Haemoproteus using respectively Agilent and Swift with MyBait protocols.

April-July 2016         Gotland island - Sweden

Internship in evolutionary ecology, behavioral ecology with the University of Uppsala (Sweden) and the CNRS of Lyon (France). Daily checking of nest boxes for population of great tit (Parus major) and collared flycatcher (Ficedula albicollis) and participation in experiments.
