“Living Labs: Opening Innovation Ecosystems for Co-creation and Greater Impact”

Date: 27 May 2025

Venue: Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Faculty of Public Health, Room 101, Tilžės St. 18, Kaunas, Lithuania

The National Living Labs Network (LLLNet) in collaboration with the Research Council of Lithuania, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) and Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences invite to the international scientific conference “Living Labs: Opening Innovation Ecosystems for Co-creation and Greater Impact”

This is the first unique event in the region, accelerated by the newly launched National Living Labs Network (LLLNet). “Living Labs” are open innovation ecosystems in real environments, based on a systematic user co-creation approach that integrates research and innovation activities in community and (or) multilateral settings, with citizens/end users at the focus of the innovation.

The conference aims to share and discuss the experiences of living labs that are already operating or about to become operating in Lithuania in broader scientific and practical discourses, reflecting the latest developments in innovation ecosystems achieved through co-creation.

The event is a unique platform for networking, exchanging best practices, collaborating on ongoing and upcoming projects, and discussing the latest trends in how to model the future for a greater impact through living lab techniques.

The conference will take place at the premises of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, which has several newly established living laboratories for health and public health care in Lithuania.

The language of the conference will be English. The conference will be held live and remotely.

Participation in the conference is free of charge.

The abstracts should be up to 500 words in English, using the attached template and sent by email: asociacija@lllnet.lt. Abstracts will be reviewed by the conference scientific committee.

Relevant dates:

  • Submission of abstracts: by 31 March 2025
  • Notification of abstract acceptance: by 30 April 2025
  • Registration to the conference: by 15 May 2025
