This paper continues publication of the conspectus of alien plant species recorded in Lithuania. The Apiaceae family in Lithuania is represented by 17, Caprifoliaceae by 5, both Oleaceae and Sambucaceae by 3, Valerianaceae by 2, each Apocynaceae, Asclepiadaceae, Dipsacaceae, and Viburnaceae by 1 alien plant species. Data on the firs record, distribution, habitats, level of naturalization, means of immigration and biology (time of flovering, fructification and reproduction) of each species are presented. Seventeen here described alien species are naturalized, 14 are casuals and naturalization level of 3 species in Lithuania is uncertain. Distribution of 2 species is mapped. Three species belonging to the Apiaceae family are excluded from the list of alien plant species.

The results were obtained during the investigations on lake macrophyte communities of Veisiejai Regional Park in 1994–1997. The species composition and the structure of macroophyte communities of 15 lakes were examined. 10 investigated lakes are of fregmentary or of stripy-fragmentary and 5 small investigated lakes are of entire stripy or quagy overgrowth degree. Totally 62 macrophytes species were found during the research. Some of them like Phragmites australis, Schoenoplectus lacustris, Nuphar lutea, Potamogeton natans, P. lucens, P. perfoliatus, Elodea canadensis, Ceratophyllum demersum, were forming the most frequent communities in the lakes examined. 4 macrophyte species enlisted into Red Data Book of Lithuania were found: Cladium mariscus, Ceratophyllum submersum, Hydrilla verticillata, Najas marina. Two species of the family Nitellaceae mucronata and N. flexilis – found in investigated lakes are being recommended to enlist into the Red Data Book of Lithuania.

The paper presents results of lichenological field trips in Neringa National Park in 1997. Totally 224 taxa of lichens and lichenicolous fungi are recorded, 27 of them are new to Lithuania: Arthoria mediella, A. punctiformis, Bispora christiansenii, Calicium parvum, Candelariella efflorescens, Chaenothecopsis nigra, Chrysothrix flavovirens, Fuscidea pusilla, Gyalecta truncigena, Lecania erysibe, L. sylvestris, Lecanora hypopta, Lecidea turgidula, Lecidella flavosorediata, Lepraria elobata, Leptogium biatorinum, Lichenodiplis lecanorae, Opegrapha sorediifera, Phoma cytospora, Polyblastia agraria, Polysporina lapponica, Porina aenea, Ropalospora viridis, Strangospora pinicola, Trapeliopsis percrenata, Trimmatostoma lichenicola, Vouauxiella lichenicola. Four rare taxa that had been recorded from the territory of the park –Opergrapha vulgata var. subsiderella, pyrrhospora quernea, Hypogymnia farinaceae, and Parmelipsis hyperopta were found again, the first two not known from other localities in Lithuania. Records of Leptogium biatorinum and L. corniculatum in sand dunes are noted

Investigations on diversity, distribution and ecological properties of fungi, lichens and slime moulds were carried out during 1993–1997 in 12 administrative districts in Eastern Lithuania. Species composition and ecological peculiarities of agaricoid fungi (Polyporales, Boletales, Hygrophorales, Tricholomatales, Agaricales, Cortinariales, Amanitales, Entolomatales, Russulales) are presented in this paper.

The first locality of Collema flaccidum (Ach.) Ach. in Lithuania is described. This species was found in Pagramantis Regional Park, Lylava reserve (Tauragė district) associated with a bryophyte Hygrohypnum luridum (Hedw.) Jenn. On stones and boulders in riverbed. The Lithuanian locality of C. flaccidum gives an additional information of the species distribution in the lowlands of Central and Eastern Europe.

Ophrys insectifera in Lithuania was first found in Pašilėliai (environs of Truskava, Kėdainiai district) in 1993. Later its locality in Praviršulis nature reserve (Radviliškis district) was revealed. In 1998 two O. insectifera localities were found in Akmenė district. One of them, located in the lime-stone quarry and its environs near to Naujoji Akmenė is the largest in Lithuania. In 1998 in abandoned part of the lime-stone quarry, on old lime-stone heaps and slopes as well as in the neighboring forest several thousands of flowering O. insectifera individuals were found. The second locality is in northern part of Akmenė district in Luokava forest (environs of Vegeriai), close to the Latvin border. There only two O. insectifera individuals were found. Morphological description, characteristics of habitats, and a map of O. insectifera distribution in Lithuania are presented. O. insectifera is tendered to enlist into the Red Data Book of Lithuania.

New Localities of Zannichellia palustris L. in Lithuania as well as species composition of Zannichellia palustris lang 1967 are described. Since 1956 only one locality (Lake Seirijai, Lazdijai district) of Z. palustris has been known. In July of 1997 this species was found growing in Lake Drūkšiai (Zarasai district), August of 1997 – in the Curonian Lagoon and in July of 1998 – in lake Vištytis (Vilkaviškis district) and lake Obelija (Alytus district). In all these water bodies groves Z. palustris of different size were found up to 1 m (more ofen 10-50 cm) depth, on sand, silty sand or sandy silt with the remainder of mollusk shells. The most constant species in Zannichellietum palustris communities were Potamogeton pectinatus, P. berchtoldii, Chara aspera, less constant – P. perfoliatus, Myriophyllum spicatum, Elodea canadensis. In the the phytocenoses of lakes Drūkšiai and Vištytis, as well as Kniaupas Bay in the Curonian Lagoon pondweeds (Potamogeton berchtoldii (more often), P. friesii, and P. rutilus) dominate. In the eastern part of the Curonian Lagoon and sandy shallows of lake Vištytis communities with Chara aspera were distributed. Only lake Vyštytis the phytocoenosis with Ranunculus reptans, and Eliocharis acicularis was found. The groves of Z. palustris usually are covered by Cladophora sp., rarely Enteromorpha intestinalis – characteristic species of Zannichellietum pedicellatae Nordhagen 1957 can by found. In 1957 in lake Seirijai the Z. palustris was found growing with P. palustris.
