Nature Research Centre inviting to the Green Ideas Festival 2026 at the Presidential Palace!

On 5 June, all are invited to jointly celebrate the World Environment Day and to take part in the sixth annual Green Ideas Festival in the courtyard and park of the Presidential Palace!

The festival initiated by Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Lithuania, brings the community together every year to discuss environmental protection and sustainable solutions.

This year’s festival will feature more than 20 companies and organizations presenting various initiatives and educational activities focused on environmental protection and sustainable living. Visitors will have an opportunity to learn about green energy, renewable energy sources, environmental issues in the Baltic Sea, and the ways to address them.

Festival participants will also invite visitors to take part in activities related to the reuse and sorting of things and toys, healthy eating, and the principles of sustainability in everyday life. Protected areas, Lithuania’s national and regional parks, as well as the importance of beekeeping for ecosystems will be highlighted.

As every year, Nature Research Centre will present its activities and share scientific insights on nature conservation, sustainability and biodiversity. We look forward to seeing you at the Green Ideas Fair—we invite you to explore, learn and be inspired to make changes!
