We are delighted that Dr Darja Dankina, a palaeontologist from NRC Laboratory of Bedrock Geology, participated in this prestigious event! She gave a presentation on 3D modelling and shared her experience from the SOLARIS synchrotron laboratory in Krakow, where she scanned Silurian fish fossils from the NRC collection.

Darja also had the honour of chairing the Paleozoic-Cainozoic Fish Session. Her contribution to the conference was acknowledged – she and her colleagues received an honorary award!

We look forward to next year’s meeting – the XXIII meeting will take place in Vilnius and will be organised jointly with the State Scientific Research Institute Nature Research Centre and Vilnius University!
