Research interests
Fish biodiversity, distribution, abundance, growth, migration, biotope selection strategy, cytogenetics, state of communities and populations, structure, change, anthropogenic impact and resources, spread of invasive species and possibilities of regulation, possibilities of preservation and restoration of rare and endangered species populations. Various equipment is used for field work (water vehicles, scientific electrofishing devices, various fishing nets, GPS and echolocation equipment, multimeters, photo equipment, etc.); microscopy, computer and other laboratory equipment are used for material and data analysis.
