Entomopathogenic nematodes as vectors for biological control of Ips typographus

The PhD project aims to contribute to the development of an innovative biological control strategy against the European spruce bark beetle (Ips typographus), one of the most destructive pests of coniferous forests in Europe. The potential of entomopathogenic nematodes as an environmentally friendly and sustainable tool for bark beetle management will be investigated.
