Bryophyte biology, taxonomy, ecology. Structure of mire vegetation and impact of ecological conditions on their stability, spread and diversity. Population studies of rare and endangered bryophyte species.

Annotation of the dissertation

The aim of this study: to evaluate plant associations in boreal and temperate marginal fens and figure out their interaction.

Objectives:
1. To evaluate the effect of environmental factors (physical and chemical parameters, characteristics of topography, microrelief) on formation of plant associations in fens.
2. To determinate interaction between plant associations in fens.
3. To determine regularity of distribution of plant associations in boreal and temperate marginal fens.
