Research interests
Interpretation of geological data using geophysical data, combining geophysical methods using the advantages of one method to fill in the gaps caused by the shortcomings and limitations of another method, structural geology, structural elements of central and western Lithuania, sedimentation of the Sachstein basin and sedimentary features of Silurian carbonate rocks.
Annotation of the doctoral annotation
Aim: to determine the origin and evolution of the geological structures of the small-scale sedimentary cover.
Tasks:
1. Clarification of the shape and origin of the Mizarai meteorite depression with new complimentary geophysical data.
2. Distribution and characteristics of Upper Silurian reefogenic bodies in central and western Lithuania according to geological and geophysical data.
3. The origin of crystalline basement envelope-shaped structures in the sedimentary rock cover of western Lithuania.
