Interactome of Aphanizomenon flos-aquae for environmental and biotechnological advancement (INTEC)

The INTEC project is dedicated to advance our understanding of cyanobacteria-driven molecular interaction networks and to support ecosystem-level strategies for mitigating harmful cyanobacterial blooms. By combining omics technologies, advanced bioinformatics, field surveys, and biomanipulation experiments, we investigate the environmentally and biotechnologically important cyanobacterium Aphanizomenon flos-aquae as our model organism. This project is funded by the Research Council of Lithuania through the Researcher Groups Projects initiative. Prospective students, industry partners, and researchers interested in both fundamental and applied cyanobacteria research are welcome to contact us to explore potential collaborations.
