Research interests

I study the helminth populations and communities of the marsh frog Pelophylax ridibundus in separate regions of Ukraine, from the natural and transformed ecosystems. My study aims to characterize the species composition, to analyse the occurrence and the abundance of helminth in communities. In addition, I am going to study how ecosystem transformations caused by human activities or climate changes may influence the parasite communities. The research allows to reveal and predict the modifications in helminth communities caused by natural and anthropogenic changes.
